The GPS will tell you you’ve arrived. You haven’t. Keep going. Past the dirt road, past the „Dead End“ sign, past the moment you think you’ve made a wrong turn.
Five more minutes. Stay left at the fork. Look for the red gate.
That’s where the desert opens up, the silence settles in, and the giants of the Sonoran appear.
