It’s getting serious and these men mean business. Here comes the heavy equipment and they will getter done. This area is just below the terrace where a tree is hung up and preventing the repairs to the lines.

The power was restored to the campground except for the terrace. We are in contact with NYSEG to restore. Lots of damage...

The power was restored to the campground except for the terrace. We are in contact with NYSEG to restore. Lots of damage with lots of trees everywhere. Almost 4 days without power. Similar storm last July that tore up the park called a microburst. I think these storms were twins. The entire town of Marathon had no power and Tannery St. has new poles installed! Wow, just a mess. Traveled to Cortland for diesel fuel and Whitney point for dinner. A shout out to many of our camper family who came to help with cleanup. We appreciate you. Now to continue the cleanup. See you soon.
