Save the Date: 2025 California Condor Release, September 27

We're thrilled to announce the details of the 29th Annual California Condor Release at Vermilion Cliffs National Monument in Arizona. This year’s release will take place on Saturday, September 27 with the release pen doors opening at 12pm MDT (11am MST, northern Arizona Condor Time).

This year, five California Condors will take to the skies for the first time after being hatched and raised in captive breeding facilities. As in prior years, this year’s release will feature an in-person event at the condor viewing site in the valley below the release pen and a livestream of the release through our YouTube channel.
