Spotted this fuzzy green mystery in our creosote bush. Turns out it’s not moss it’s a gall, created by a tiny insect called the creosote gall midge. Nature’s way of reminding us there’s always more happening than meets the eye. Desert life is weird, wild, and wonderful!

Snagged one of these lucky pony shoes while wandering through Marfa. Each one is powder coated by in a different color depending on where you find it. It was fun to hunt for the perfect one. This green beauty came from a local shop and is now headed home with me as a little piece of West Texas charm. Keep an eye out when you’re in town, every store has their own version!
