Long before the Georgia Dome became a place of wonder, a silent enemy lived within its walls.

Deep inside the structure, hidden from sight, water slowly found its way through the Dome’s shell. Year after year, decade after decade, the unseen leak weakened the walls. For twenty-five years, the Dome carried this burden in silence. Had the water remained undiscovered for much longer, the great Dome might have been lost to time.

But every legend has a turning point.

When the hidden damage was finally revealed, a great restoration began. For many weeks, damaged walls were opened, repaired, and rebuilt. Strength returned where weakness had taken hold. What once faced decline was given a new life.

And from the waters that nearly claimed the Dome, a new spirit was born.

Her name was Suvia.

Suvia, the Bird of Renewal.

Legend says that when the restoration was complete, Suvia rose from the water itself. Her feathers carried the colors of sky and sea, and her wings bore the promise that even the deepest wounds can heal.

Today, Suvia watches over the Georgia Dome as its guardian and symbol of rebirth. She reminds all who enter that challenges can become strength, and that new beginnings often rise from the very things that once threatened to destroy us.

For the Georgia Dome was not defeated by water.

It was reborn from it.

The majestic tiger, radiant sun, and graceful deer on the façade of Sher-Dor Madrasa in Samarkand, Uzbekistan are more than beautiful artwork, they tell a story.

The tiger (or lion) symbolizes strength and courage. The sun represents light, wisdom, and life. The deer reminds us of the pursuit of purpose and growth.
