At GPLDC, we are fully dedicated to providing solutions to address your unique needs.

This personal care is why people throughout the marion area come to us. We offer long-term and short-term full-service dog and cat boarding, according to your wishes. Each of our boarding staff members is trained in how to properly handle all breeds and sizes of pets safely so that your pet always feels comfortable and relaxed. You can even customize your dog or cat’s stay with us, and we can give your pet any needed daily medications.

A big part of keeping our pets healthy is making sure they’re getting the right nutrition for their individual needs.

Lexie took time to talk with Odin’s owner about nutrition and the different options available to help him feel his best. Meanwhile, Odin was listening very closely… or maybe he just heard the word food. 😂

Judging by that tongue, we think he’s ready to start taste-testing the options! 👅🐶

Marcus came to Pet Wellness Center for his first veterinary visit, and this handsome boy definitely made an impression! 😍

At just 13 weeks old, this German Shepherd pup is already weighing in at an impressive 36.6 pounds! Those paws tell us he has plenty more growing to do. 😂🐾

Marcus saw Dr. Kozak for his visit and also managed to squeeze in some quality cuddle time with Kendall. Because really… who could resist that fluffy face and those ears?! 🥰

💙 In veterinary medicine, not every day is easy.

Many of our days are filled with difficult conversations, sick patients, heartbreaking goodbyes, and tears. It's a profession we love, but one that can be emotionally heavy.

That's why moments like this mean so much.

When our Sanitation Manager's favorite dust mop finally worked itself to death after years of faithful service, our groomers decided it deserved a proper send-off. They put together a memorial complete with flowers, snacks, music, a sympathy card, and even a few heartfelt words for "Dusty."

It may seem silly to some, but to us it was exactly what our team needed—a reason to laugh together.

Working in veterinary medicine isn't just about caring for animals. It's about caring for each other, too. Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness and humor help carry us through the hardest days.

Here's to coworkers who know when you need a smile, a laugh, and a reminder not to take life too seriously.

Rest in Mop, Dusty. 🧹💙 You fought the good fight... one dust bunny at a time.
