We've gotten a lot of new followers lately - hello!

Our names are Grace and Mike, and we are board game designers (Smug Owls, Bullseye, Sky 5) who run a bed & breakfast in western NC called the Tabletop Inn. If you could imagine having a sleepover in your favorite board game cafe, that's basically what we're doing here.

Four comfy bedrooms, over 800 board games, delicious homemade breakfasts, and a breathtaking view of the mountains. That's the Tabletop Inn.

Last week, we celebrated two years of having guests at the Tabletop Inn. We made it a true celebration, taking our usual Community Game Night and turning it into a surprise mini-festival!

Thank you so much to everyone who made it such a special night:

🍦 The Scream for bringing incredible homemade ice cream in their amazing trailer
🍾 Marion Wines for bringing prosecco in the cutest mobile setup
🧩 Craig for bringing the Chonkit bar and taking the best group photo ever
🧀 Zac & Anna from The Cheeseboard for bringing tables & chairs and leading games
🀄 Margie for teaching mahjong like a pro
🕰 Michael for breaking in our basement and leading Blood on the Clocktower
✨ Everyone who came, played games, brought food and presents, and made the night so magical!

We are so proud of this little business and can't wait to see how it keeps growing. It's amazing to see how much our community has grown since we started hosting these community game nights a year ago - we are truly honored to know you all!

"The Tabletop Inn is a gem of a bed and breakfast in Marion, about 35 minutes east of Asheville. The house is comfortable and decorated with board games throughout. There are tons of spots to play games, plus a crafting cabinet, an outdoor patio and swing, and of course a fabulous game room.

Mike and Grace are terrific hosts, and we enjoyed a delicious fresh cooked breakfast each morning before heading out to local hikes and attractions. They also taught us a short game each morning, which was a fun way to start the day.

This place is great for a family vacation, and it's close to many western NC attractions so it's a good home base. Plus if the weather doesn't cooperate there is nowhere better to be stuck indoors than with their giant collection of games."

Thanks to Isaac for these great photos and kind words! We're glad you and your family had a wonderful time.
