We have two free community events this month, and they're going to be AWESOME!

First up: September Playtesting Night @ Tabletop Inn is on Tuesday, September 8 from 6-10pm. Come and play unpublished games and give your feedback, or bring your own games-in-progress and test them out! No dinner is provided, but feel free to bring your own.

And the big one on Wednesday, September 30 from 6-10pm: September Community Game Night @ Tabletop Inn - 2nd Anniversary Party! This is no average community game night, because we're celebrating TWO WHOLE YEARS of being open as a bed & breakfast. This will be a night full of fun surprises! Special game hosts! Secret desserts! Door prizes! RSVP if you can because it's going to be a really fun night. Can't wait to see you there and celebrate together!

Our community board game exchange has been a real hit lately! We made this box recently with the help of our nieces, and we thought we'd show off how it went from their original ideas to a beautiful reality.

Thanks to everybody who's added games to the exchange! It fills our hearts with joy to see so many people using it.

Next up on our artist showcase is ! Autumn visited recently and our place has so many happy new rainbows as a result. You can find the meeple magnet on our mini-fridge in the game room, our "hate has no home here" NC magnet on the side of our water cooler, and the flowery spoon rest is just for us innkeepers to enjoy in the kitchen. 😉

We love these thoughtfully crafted pieces and we're thrilled to get to display them in the Inn! Thanks, Autumn!

We've been really excited to shout out some amazing new additions to the Inn from local woodworking genius Shawn Fest. He upcycled an old bookcase into a new one that perfectly filled in the lonely empty space in our book nook, making it finally feel complete! And he created the COOLEST little limb shelf for our Smug Owls riddle of the day, so we can put up new mysterious riddles each morning for our guests to ponder.

These projects turned out better than our wildest dreams and we're so glad to get to share them with you! Thanks, Shawn!

This week, we're showing off some incredible artistic additions to the Inn that some very cool people have contributed recently.

Kicking things off is this gorgeous painting of our backyard view! Our amazing friend Juli Bierwirth created this watercolor piece during a recent visit and we were blown away. The detail in those mountains is breathtaking! You might know Juli as the illustrator of the board game Mantis Falls and the co-owner of .

We can't wait to get this framed and hung up! It was such an honor to receive this. 💕

Another great community game night in the books! We had too much fun to remember to take many photos, ha. Thanks to everyone who came!

Games played: Tattoo Stories, Smug Owls, The Golden Ticket Game, Sky 5, Trio, Dino Racers, Beacon Patrol, Just One, The Fuzzies, Omens, Qork, and Row Your Goat

Food enjoyed: Hot dogs, potato salad, corn on the cob, chips, and a variety of community-provided desserts!

Records listened to: Meet the Beatles - The Beatles, Their Greatest Hits - The Eagles, and Beethoven's Fifth Symphony - New York Philharmonic conducted by Leonard Bernstein

On our next community game night, we will also be celebrating two years of being open as the Tabletop Inn! We have many surprises in store, so put September 30th on your calendar and we'll tell you more details soon!

We somehow still have one suite left for the Bigfoot Festival this weekend! The Bird Room has one king bed and one twin bed, and the Herb Room has two twin beds - that's room for up to five awesome people! Breakfast included, and you can WALK to the festival. It doesn't get better than this!
