✨ A little sneak peek at one of the details we’ve been so excited to share! We will have a total of sixteen of these stained glass beauties throughout the Hotel Marion!

These beautiful stained glass pieces have been installed in the original transom windows, and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. From the beginning of this renovation, preserving as much of the original character of this historic building as possible has been incredibly important to us. Being able to keep these original transom windows and give them new life with custom stained glass feels like the perfect blend of old and new.

The stained glass was beautifully created by Sherrill’s Art Glass, and the craftsmanship and attention to detail are truly incredible. Each piece adds color, character, and another special layer to the story of Hotel Marion.

We love watching the historic details of this building come back to life…while adding thoughtful touches that we hope will be enjoyed for generations to come. ✨

We’re thrilled to reveal the beautiful floors at Hotel Marion! ✨

One of the things that makes this restoration so special is the opportunity to preserve as much of the building’s history as possible. We’ve brought the original hardwood floors back to life, restoring the character and beauty they’ve held for generations.

In areas where the original flooring had to be replaced, we were able to incorporate reclaimed wood from Oliver’s Lodge in Murrells Inlet…adding another meaningful piece of history to Hotel Marion. 🤍

Swipe to see where the original hardwood and reclaimed wood come together beautifully. We love how seamlessly the old meets the old, each with its own story to tell.

🍂 Room Reveal #12: The Golden Leaf Room 🍂

We've reached the final reveal in our room naming series, and it's one that honors a defining chapter of our region's story.

Introducing the Golden Leaf Room.

Named for the golden to***co leaves that once filled the fields of Marion County and across the P*e Dee, this room pays tribute to an industry that helped shape our community for generations. To***co was more than a crop - it was a way of life. It supported families, built businesses, and became an enduring part of the heritage that makes this region so unique.

At Hotel Marion, every room has been thoughtfully named to celebrate the history, landscapes, and traditions that make Marion special. From our rivers and wildlife to our towering trees and agricultural roots, each room tells a piece of our story.

🌲 Room Reveal #11: The Pine Grove Room 🌲

Pine groves have long been part of the landscape that defines Marion. Standing tall along the P*e Dee rivers and throughout our region, these enduring trees are a symbol of strength, resilience, and the natural beauty that surrounds us.

The Pine Grove Room celebrates the peaceful woodlands and deep roots that make this area feel like home. Like every room at Hotel Marion, it's inspired by the places, history, and traditions that make our community so special.

✨ We're almost there... only ONE room name remains!

👀 Based on the names we've revealed so far, do you have a guess what our final room will be?

💬 Drop your guess in the comments below! We can't wait to see who gets it right.
