Friendly Falls Forest is a beautiful 30+ acres located within the Sierra National Forest boundary between the two southern most entrances to Yosemite National Park. Nestled half way between the towns of Oakhurst and the old mining town of Mariposa north of California State Highway 49, it's a perfect location for exploring in and around the National Park, far from the light, noise and bustle of the Highway 41 corridor. The property boasts a wonderful spring fed steam that cascades down the mountainside from the National Forest as well as a wide variety of wildlife.
We are currently working to establish a bed and breakfast and rental house on the property. Also under construction are a series of trails that will allow future visitors to explore the varied natural landscapes of the forest.
As of the beginning of June we have broken ground on the B & B, poured the footings and slab and framing on the first floor is well under way!
