CRRC UPDATE: The Castor River has continued to recede and is back where she belongs. Thanks to much prior preparation, CRRC clean up is relatively minor compared with other flooding. Any untethered items at your site may have relocated during the flood. Please check your site or call for more information.

CRRC UPDATE: (Office front porch view. (Morning and Afternoon) Although it has continued to rain all day, the Castor River has been receding. Unfortunately we cannot provide an accurate campground assessment due to our inability to cross the low water bridge. From what we can see, the river continues to flow through the middle, lower area of the campground.

Keep those fingers crossed a little longer!!!

OK folks, the Castor River at CRRC is FULL! Additional rain tonight will potentially cause the river to breach the banks. A special and huge shout out to all those that assisted with our evacuation efforts. We are especially thankful to the KFVS Weather Team, Victoria Vineyards (Jay and Vicki Hannsman), Bobby Moyers and our CRRC family and friends.

Kevin Baker was the “Life of the Party” at Castor River Ranch Campground. He always had a smile for everyone and never met a stranger. Kevin and his retrievers enjoyed hanging out with friends, floating the river, fishing, visiting the tunnel, and spending time with the horses. Our thoughts continue to be with all of his family and friends during these difficult times. Our prayer is that his spirit will live on at Castor River Ranch Campground.

Thank you to Bob and Cindy Fauser, Denny and Kristi Herbst, Austin and Natalie Sikes and all of the "little buck-a-roos" for our first annual 4th of July Dog and Pony Parade. The saxophone rendition of our National Anthem on the beach by Austin and Natalie gave the crowd goosebumps and the parade was unique and entertaining. What a surprise for the Castor River Ranch Campground tribe!
