🍂🏕️ Fall Camping in Michigan's UP: What to Pack & What to Know

Fall in the Upper Peninsula is one of our favorite times of year—but UP weather can change quickly! If you're planning a fall camping trip, here are a few things we recommend bringing:

🧥 Dress in layers — UP weather can change quickly!
🧦 Pack extra socks — Keep your feet warm and dry.
🔥 Bring warm layers — Perfect for chilly evenings around the campfire!
🔦 Pack a flashlight or headlamp — The days get shorter.
☕ Bring a warm drink — Coffee tastes even better around the campfire!

🍁 And most importantly… slow down and enjoy it. Fall is a beautiful time to explore the Upper Peninsula, sit around the fire, and enjoy the quieter side of camping.

The is bringing big adventure to Rippling River — celebrating fall, fantastic trails, and the riding community we love.

Join us Saturday night at@junkfish_tavern for live music by the bonfire. 🔥🎶 Bring your friends, grab a drink, and settle in for a great fall evening.

Then on Sunday during the E-Bike Enduro, we’ll be giving back to the trails — $1 from every adult beverage sold will be donated to NTN Trails. 🚲🌲

We have a mission. 🗺️🌲

Our team is heading out onto the new trails for a little adventure of our own — scouting the scenic spots, discovering new trail openings, and getting to know the routes so we can help you find your way when you visit.

For the next two weeks, we’ll be exploring, searching, and sharing what we find along the way. 👀

And yes… this is officially part of the job.
We’re calling it a perk. 😎🥾
