A beautiful blue sky day at the cabin. Day Lilies are blooming all down the driveway and in the nooks and crannies of the landscape. You will have to hurry to beat the birds to the blueberries as they ripen if you want some to take home with you.

The summer flowers are on the decline and fall colors still on the horizon. Hopefully some will make family plans to visit for the fall season. We still have hiking, fishing, star gazing , smores making, leaf looking and just a change of scenery to offer. Call it a mental health getaway to the mountains, something we all need. I havent seen a black snake all year and thought maybe it had moved on. But this 4 foot skin fell out of the shed, so I guess he's still around. The wild raspberries are blooming and the blueberries are beginning to color up a little bit.
