In the Bible, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights.
Day 41 came and the rain stopped.
Moses committed murder & hid in the desert for 40 years.
Year 41 came, and God called him to help rescue Israel.
Moses went up on the mountain for 40 days.
On day 41, he received the Ten Commandments.
The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years.
Year 41, they walked into the Promised Land.
Goliath taunted Israel for 40 days.
Day 41 came, and David slew him.
Jonah preached a message of repentance to Ninevah for 40 days.
On day 41, God stopped His plan to destroy them.
Jesus fasted and was tempted for 40 days.
Day 41, and the devil fled.
After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples for 40 days.
On day 41, He ascended into Heaven.
All this to say...don't quit. The rain will stop, the giant will fall, and you will enter your "promised land." Don't give up at 40.
41 is coming.

As of now the power is still not on at The Camp; however, everything is on around us and we expect power soon.

The plan is for the NYI Youth camp to start Tuesday and end Saturday. For more information please direct calls and inquiries to The N/E TX district.

Thank you to all for your prayers, support and even the use and donation of generators to help the camp stabilize during this wild and trying time.

Volunteering and Donations at it's best. Larry and Don volunteering and donating their time and expertise in filling in the old swimming pool at the camp. Larry Schrum and family have been long time contributors to the on-going development, care and success of Scottsville Camp over the decades. We appreciate him, Don and ALL the other folks that have donated their monies and time to keeping Scottsville Camp "Christ Centered" and a ministry to the Community and Body of Christ!!!

It's evening after a busy day continuing to prep for the upcoming Camping season. Our first big Summer Camp will start Sunday June 4, 2023 when the Campers of camp I'm Still Me start arriving.

A couple of these photos are the progress made on the Ball field from earlier this week. The other maybe familiar to some, as the tractor and train cars are back for rides for the Campers!!!

What's Happening at Scottsville? The Williams Brothers (Joe & Heath) are working hard to upgrade the Ball Field for the upcoming camping season.

So get ready to "Head on out to the Ball Game" and join us on the "Field of Dreams" here at Scottsville Camp and Conference Center.

This gorgeous prayer chapel was donated by Kenny Marchant and family 20+ years ago and has been an incredible blessing to so many who have entered through those doors to find solitude and rest inside. We are so thankful to those who have partnered with us over the years and continue to partner with Scottsville Camp & Conference Center to bring spaces to worship, pray and reflect such as The Marchant Chapel.

Even as Jesus Christ gives Resurrection Life, in like manner Spring time brings forth New Life!

We are glad to announce the tradition continues here at Scottsville Camp welcoming New Life on the campgrounds. Another couple of batches of baby geese were born on Cross Island and are now swimming around the lake.
