Another unforgettable summer is wrapping up at the
Blount County Public Library, and we’re already embracing the shift from
bright, bustling days to the crisp, energizing promise of
fall. As we pack away the dinosaurs and summer decor,
we’re gearing up for our signature autumn programs.

Our momentum continues with Mini-Con on August
15th from 9 AM - 3:30 PM, and our Hot Summer Nights
Concert Series will keep your Thursday evenings full of
music and community spirit. Looking ahead, we’re
proud to host our annual Anna Belle Smith Literary
Festival on October 24th, celebrating a fantastic lineup
of local authors from across our region.

If these aren’t your style, we’ve got plenty more: book
clubs for all ages and an Audiobook Walking Club for
those who love pairing a good story with a good stroll.

If what you really need is a cozy place to read or study,
settle in at one of our many tables overlooking the
greenway—we’ll have a special café drink ready for you.
And mystery lovers, we’ve got something new brewing
this September: the Sher-latte Holmes. This hot or iced
treat is a puzzle of warm spices waiting to be solved.
