Last night, Harding Lodge No. 649 had the honor of partnering with the Grand Lodge of Iowa to confer the final courtesy degree for Brother Will on behalf of Bethel Lodge No. 319.

Congratulations, Brother Will, on reaching this important milestone in your Masonic journey! Your dedication, commitment, and perseverance have brought you to this moment, and we are proud to have been a part of it.

A sincere thank you to all of the Brothers who took part in the degree work and helped make the evening a success. The bonds of Brotherhood were on full display, showcasing the cooperation and fellowship that make our Fraternity so special.

We wish Brother Will continued success as he continues his journey in Freemasonry.

What an incredible day of fellowship, family, and Brotherhood!

Harding Lodge No.649 had the true privilege of hosting the very first NAM Block Party of 2026, and what a success it was! From the smiles and laughter to the conversations and connections made throughout the day, it was a reminder of what Masonry is truly about bringing people together.

It was wonderful to see not only our Brethren from across the state, but also their families enjoying the day together. The Lodge Service Committee had a vision when planning these five events across Iowa, and seeing that vision come to life was something special.

Thank you to everyone who attended, helped organize, volunteered, cooked, played games, marched in the parade, and made the day memorable. Days like this strengthen our Lodges, our communities, and the bonds we share as Brothers.

Here’s to more fellowship, more laughter, and more unforgettable memories throughout the rest of the NAM Block Party events in 2026!

Brethren of Harding Lodge No. 649,

At our May Stated Meeting, we were honored to read one petition for the second time and FOUR petitions for the first time. What an incredible sign of growth and momentum for our Lodge!

With that success, Worshipful Master Theodore Boomgarden has officially issued a challenge to the Brethren:

The Brother who brings the MOST petitions to our June Stated Meeting will receive $150 CASH!!!

Let’s continue building the future of Harding Lodge and strive to beat the four new petitions read during the month of May.

Every petition is another opportunity to bring good men into our Brotherhood and strengthen the light of Masonry in our community.
