Happy Birthday to two incredible leaders, “Light Horse”Harry Lee and our Park Ranger and Superintendent Colby Caldwell🎉 It's pretty cool that both these guys, born on January 29th, have such a strong connection to Lost River State Park.

Harry Lee, who originally received the land from George Washington himself, was clearly a figure of great trust and responsibility, entrusted with a significant piece of history. Fast forward to today, Colby, as the park ranger, embodies that same spirit of dedicated leadership. He works tirelessly to protect and preserve this beautiful place, just as Harry Lee likely envisioned a future for the land. Both of them, in their own times, have shown what it means to care deeply for what's entrusted to them, guiding and stewarding for the good of all.
