Yep, that’s right…we’re getting older and we have used AARP cardsfor years and get the monthly AARP Bulletin every month🙂.
I normally don’t read it but found the headline this month to be interesting.
After reading the article it is sad to realize how much research and money has gone into this horrible disease. And from 2004-2021, 98
experimental drugs failed in later-stage human studies. Also, one of the drugs mentioned doesn’t stop or reverse it; on average, it can slow mental decline by a mere 5 months😢.
What I LOVED about the article is the ideas of how to lower the risk.
🔸Healthy blood pressure and sugar levels
🔸Getting regular exercise
🔸Eating more fruit and vegetables
🔸Taking care of your ears and eyes
🔸Pampering mental health
🔸Good Sleep
What I didn’t love about the article
🔸Taking a multivitamin
🔸The article never mentions taking omegas
Over the years, I have learned how much multivitamins are poorly regulated and they’re just not as good as the real thing. I have also learned all the benefits that come with a plant based omega. I avoid the fish based ones because they can become rancid and I can’t handle the taste.
As I read this article, once again I realize that when I said “YES” to Juice Plus in hopes to help with my RA, I was also saying “YES” to my overall health🥰. It’s brings me peace of mind knowing that I am doing everything possible to keep my body and mind healthy❤️
