FISHERMANS AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN PICKED ON BY CORP PLEASE ATTEND THIS MEETING MONDAY APRIL 1ST 5:30 PM AT THE EUFAULA COMMUNITY CENTER PARKING LOT 121 HIGH STREET EUFAULA,OK
WE NEED YOUR VOICES. WE NEED TO PUT AN END TO FAVORTISM ON
LAKE EUFAULA. IT IS TIME TO STAND UP AND SPEAK OUT. LETTERS, COMPLAINTS, AND SIGNATURES ARE GOING TO BE SENT TO ALL REPRESENTATIVES, CONGRESSMEN, AND WASHINGTON DC.

TO STAY ON LAKE! SPEAK OUT! WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
THE MAYOR WHO SEEMED TO REALLY CARE ABOUT EUFAULA AND WHAT WOULD BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY HAD SHOWN GREAT INTEREST IN PUTTING AREA 51 IN ONE OF THE EUFAULA COVE LEASE AREAS OR PETERS POINT BUT WHEN PRESENTED TO THE CITY MANAGER JEBB JONES HE WOULD NOT EVEN RETURN THE CALLS TO DONNA SHOTWELL AND THEN SQUISHED IT STATING HE HAD A DIFFERENT AGENDA. WHEN JEBB WAS TOLD THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY WANTED TO SPEAK THEIR WISHES HE REFUSED TO PUT IT ON THE AGENDA SO IT COULD EVEN BE HEARD. I ASKED HIM TO PUT THAT IN WRITING AND HE REFUSED. AFTER HIS CONVERSATION WITH THE MAYOR , THE MAYOR THEN DID NOT RETURN MY CALLS. IT WAS SAD BECAUSE THE MAYOR SEEMED SO WANTING TO REALLY DO SOMETHING FOR THE FISHERMAN IN HIS COMMUNITY, HE HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALL. THE CITY
COUNCIL MEETING IS AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER ON MONDAY
APRIL 1ST, 5:30. IT IS TIME TO VOICE OUR OPINIONS OF BEING SHUT
OUT AND NOT HAVING A VOICE IN OUR OWN TOWNS OR ON OUR
LAKE. THIS IS NOT A DICTATORSHIP. THIS IS AMERICA!
I HAVE BEEN A VICTIM OF FALSE REPORTING AND HAVE LOST MY LIFE SAVINGS BECAUSE OF FAVORTISM ON LAKE EUFAULA. I WILL BE 70 ON MY BIRTHDAY AND HOW DO I MAKE IT BACK. THE MARINA WAS MY RETIREMENT.
I AM NOT THE ONLY VICTIM OF CORP FAVORTISM ON LAKE EUFAULA—MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DAMAGED SEVERELY MONETARILY OVER THE
WRONG DOING BY THE CORP AND STATE IN THE CONTRACT TERMINATION FOR AREA 51 MARINA. PEOPLE BOUGHT HOMES AND
MOVED TO THE AREA FOR THE FISHING AT THE MARINA. MANY PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE THEY ARE UNABLE TO GO DOWN BANKS
OR HILLS TO FISH BECAUSE THEY ARE IN WHEELCHAIRS, WALKERS,
OLD, OR DISABLED. THIS REMOVAL OF PROBABLY THE NICEST FISHING FACILITY IN THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA IS A TRAVESTY NOT ONLY FOR
THE OWNER BUT THOSE WHO UTILIZED THE FACILITY.
THE OWNER SPENT THOUSANDS TURNING THE FACILITY INTO A BOAT TO TRY TO FURTHER ACCOMMODATE THOSE HANDICAP PEOPLE AND
HAVE A VENUE FOR THOSE HANDICAP TO FISH. SHE IS STOPPED AT
EVERY AVENUE AND THE CORP IS STILL TRYING TO FORCE HER TO
REMOVED IT FROM THE LAKE.
THEY WILL NOT EVEN ALLOW HER TO KEEP IT FOR HER OWN PERSONAL BOAT.
IT IS TIME TO STOP ALL THE FAVORTISM. WHAT IS GOOD FOR ONE IS GOOD FOR ALL. ONE PERSON HAS TO LEAVE A 45’ NATURAL VEGETATION WHILE THEIR NEIGHBOR IF A FRIEND OF THE CORP CAN MOW ALL THE WAY TO THE LAKE. ONE PERSON HAS TO REMOVE THEIR HYDROPORTS WHILE HIS NEIGHBOR NEXT DOOR DOES NOT. ONE PERSON HAS TO REPAIR THEIR DOCK OR REPLACE THEIR FOAM WHILE THE NEIGHBOR DOES NOT. SOME EVEN HAVE TO REMOVE THEIR HOMES OR CUT OFF PART OF THEIR HOUSE WHILE OTHERS DO NOT. SOME CUT TREES AND ITS OKAY WHILE OTHERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BUILD DOCKS ON THEIR DEVELOPMENTS FOR AS LONG AT 10 YEARS FOR CUTTING TREES. SOME ARE ALLOWED TO DUMP MILLIONS OF GALLONS (see Clifton Adcock reporter, Frontier Magazine, March 28, 2019) OF RAW SEWAGE INTO THE LAKE AND ARE STILL ALLOWED TO CONTINUE BUILDING WHILE RISKING OUR VERY HEALTH WHILE OTHERS ARE FINED AND FORCED TO LOSE THEIR PERMITS IF A SMALL AMOUNT OF A BROKEN PIPE RUNS IN. ONE HAS TO FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES ON DOCK PLACEMENT WHILE ANOTHER CAN PLACE THEIRS OUTSIDE OF THE SHORELINE MANAGEMENT PLAN AND RIGHT IN YOUR LOCATION IF THEY ARE FRIENDS WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE IN THE CORP.
THIS DOUBLE STANDARD HAS TO STOP. RULES ARE RULES AND SHOULD BE THE SAME FOR EVERYONE.

1. THEY SAW MY PILOT LIGHT ON DURING THE WINTER
I DON’T HAVE A PILOT LIGHT.— I AM TOTAL ELECTRIC
2. I DID NOT HAVE INSURANCE— AGENT TOLD THEM I WAS NEVER
WITHOUT AND SENT DOCUMENTION
3. I DID NOT HAVE NO SWIMMING SIGNS ON THE DOCK. THE SIGNS
ARE STILL ON THE DOCK AND HAVE BEEN THERE FOR MORE THAN
10 YEARS
4. SAID THE DOCK WAS UNSOUND. HAD DIVERS DIVE AND FULL ENGINEERS REPORTS STATING THE DOCK WAS IN GREAT CONDITION
LOOK AT PHOTO FOR YOURSELF
5. HAD 2 TUBS THAT FLOATED IN FROM OTHER DOCKS ON SHORE
THEY CALLED THAT A VIOLATION YET EVERY OTHER MARINA HAD
MANY TUBS AND DOCK PARTS ON LOCATION
6. CALLED MY WALKWAY AND HANDICAP RAMP A TRIP HAZARD

THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE BOGUS ITEMS THAT WERE LISTED AS WELL AS THE FLOOR WHICH WE REPAIRED AND DO EACH YEAR AT END
OF SEASON. WE SPENT OVER $39,000 DOING EVERYTHING THE CORP/STATE ASKED EVEN FIXED THE ROAD DAMAGED BY THE STATE, THEN THEY TOOK MY LEASE. IT SURE MAKES IT LOOK LIKE THEY WANTED TO GET IT JUST THE WAY THEY WANTED IT THEN TAKE IT THINKING I COULD NOT REMOVE IT IN THE TIME ALLOTTED PERIOD.
CONGRESSMAN JOSH BRACKEENS OFFICE CAME TO THE MARINA AND AFTER SEEING HOW GREAT THE MARINA WAS CALLED THE TOURISM ATTORNEY AND ASKED IF THERE WERE ANYTHING WE COULD DO TO
KEEP THE LEASE THAT WE HAD DONE EVERYTHING THEY ASKED AND
