Mother Nature has us closing early this year. Our last day will be Sunday March 29th. Thank you to all that made it out this season. It was one for the record books. Here is to history repeating itself for next year and the year after. Last time Payette Lake did not freeze over the next two years were great snow years. Fingers crossed. We will most likely be opening earlier than our typical June 1st date so stay tuned.

Burgdorf is so excited to have been selected as the preferred “Where in the World Is Sharlie?” location for the beloved McCall lake monster during McCall Winter Carnival! 🐉❄️

How cool is it to have Burgdorf featured in a snow sculpture?! This is a first—and we’re honored. Huge thanks to the McCall Community Center McCall Community Center and the incredible sculptors who brought this to life. You are awesome. 😎👏

Sharlie’s Secret Soak
While others search the globe, Sharlie slips away to her favorite hidden soak. In the middle of winter, she lounges back in a steaming hot tub at Burgdorf Hot Springs, soaking it all in. 🌲💚 Life is good up at Burgdorf! Happy Monday.
An update!

Last night the sun broke through the rain and gifted us a double rainbow — one of those magical moments that remind us why this place is so special. The team also finished building a new woodshed for the southside cabins (logistics just got a whole lot easier 🙌), and they put up a pretty awesome new merch wall in the store. Meanwhile, Lisa’s late summer flowers and garden are in prime time!

We’re proud to continue the legacy to preserve one of the last best places. Hope to see you up here soon!

Hi all, we are doing some pool maintenance and deep cleaning today (Tuesday) and Wednesday so we are pressing pause on swims to get those things done, but back open Thursday of this week. Temps are cooling off, colors are starting to pop, so come on up and see when we are done! Thank you for your patience and understanding. 🍁❤️🏔️

We want to give a big, big, BIG thank you to our brave firefighters who have been battling the Crystal Fire just a couple of miles from us. We also recognize all the firefighters and personnel working tirelessly across the region right now under these hot, dry August conditions. Our gratitude for their courage and sacrifice is infinite.

Hey everyone, we will be closed this weekend for a special family reunion event so we won't be open for swims and stays to the public. So sorry for any inconvenience, but appreciate your respect and understanding for these next couple of days!

Things are looking spiffy and the main office/store building project continues to get completed, along with other projects to continue to make the property refreshed, more functional, and clean! We will post update photos soon.

Shoo wee! What a winter. Although mama nature still has some tricks up her sleeve, it’s that time of year where we conclude the winter season, take a pause while the road thaws out, and prepare for summer’s re-opening. Last day to soak is this Sunday, April 6th so if you want to come on up, this weekend is your chance! Big thanks for coming out to see us this winter and all the Burgdorf love. Big thanks to our managers and staff team for all they do and all the love they continue to pour into restoring the property with all their custom projects.

Here’s a sneak peak at what Lisa, Leland, and Bill have been up to, in additon to the daily operations up here. We officially said “adios” to the vintage sombrero that so gracefully masked a hole for all these decades in the store. She’s getting a major facelift that we hope to have done by summer with restored floors, walls, and new ceiling! Broken Wing, Laurel Ann, and the men’s dressing room have all been getting TLC too. See if you can spot the upside Idaho counter top in Laurel Ann. Sending our gratitude and thanks. See yall on the other side of mud season soon if we don’t catch you on our last weekend. ✌️

We are open for the 2024-2025 winter season! Come on up on your trusty winterized steed to soak or stay with us. We are officially in snowmobile season and we’ve had a massive storm that’s made things pillowy and sugary sweet just in time for the holidays. Be sure to “know before you go”and check avalanche conditions especially for those riding off the groomed trail. Visit https://payetteavalanche.org always before you head out.

Also, we are thrilled to show the new and improved Margaret and White House cabins that are completely rehabbed, reworked, insulated, with new chinking to keep you cozy and warm this season. We are also in the process of upgrading the main store as well. Thanks to our amazing team of Leland, Lisa, Bill, and others, who have continued to work so hard and striven to provide a high-quality experience, while also investing in the property to ensure Burgdorf can continue to thrive for future generations. This adds to the increasing list of continued upgrades and rehabilitated cabins and amenities onsite in recent months/years.
