Our soft opening season is officially finished. We have so many good things on the horizon, but we’re definitely going to miss these views for the next several months! ⛰️✨

The last week of our first season has arrived.
Here’s the schedule ⏱️:
Wed. 8am - 8pm
Thurs. 8am - 8pm
Fri. 11am- 8pm
Sat. 11am - 8pm
Sun. CLOSED ALL DAY
Mon. 11am - 8pm - Last Supper!
Tuesday and beyond- 👋🏻CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.

It may have been our “soft opening” summer, but there was nothing understated about our first two months welcoming guests from around the world to Great St. Elias Station.
The pace is slowing now as the season naturally comes to a end. One of the great privileges of running a wilderness lodge is that your operation changes along with the seasons. Being a part of Alaska’s last hurrah before the ‘long winter sleep’ is no less remarkable today than we imagine it still to be after 100 years of operations.✨🏔️

It’s not too late to experience September at the Station. Snow covered mountains, crisp glacier mornings, cozy cabins to enjoy the fall colors. Oh my! ☕️🍂

It was an excellent night with Big Chimney Barn Dance at the Station. Caller Caroline Oakley kept the dance floor hopping and the weather could not have been more dreamy! Thanks for making the journey out here and sharing your bluegrass tunes with us all!
