The east side of Hoffer Lake is now closed for general public, the crew has made it to County Park shop this week and are now working from County Park shop to farm to market road.

There are detours set up from hwy 200 to gain acces thru west side of lake, but please watch for large equipment and semis and keep an eye out in camp ground area for equipment running.

We are sorry for this inconvenience. It will be closed off thru the weekend!

It's a beautiful day at Hoffer Lake today, road construction is fully under way today, if your coming out to camp, fish or just escape the heat for a swim be mindful there are lots of semis with dump trailers of dirt coming in and out all day today, all detour signage is up and being utilized.

Construction is only on west end of lake road for this week so far, road is still closed from west end of rod hill addition thru fork in road before point access.

I know it's exciting but please be mindful of everyone working out here, they have a project to do and I am still mowing and maintaining all the grounds as normal. All sites are still accessable for camping.

Heads up McClusky, the Hoffer Lake construction project has begun for the pavement project.

So far, just West of the Rod Hill Addition is closed to thru traffic all the way to the fork in the road before the point, all other ways in are still accessible at this time.

They do have a detour set up around north hoffer "skunk" lake, the road is pretty nice, if needed - detour starts before the fork on the point side or beside my shop on lake side. They have large orange detour signs marking it.

I understand the road project is exciting, but please be mindful of the crews working, stay out of their way if you can, they will be working Monday thru Saturday starting this Monday july13th.

We will update daily on closures or anything else.

Camping is still completely available for all sites, just the point is not accessible from the lake road side at this time, the detour would need to be used off of hwy 200. Thier road crew has placed signage.
