We've had a big increase in followers over the last couple weeks, and many have asked when & how did the journey of Lisa's recovery begin. So, here's a brief recount....

In April of 2023 Lisa was diagnosed with uterine cancer which required surgery and a scheduled six rounds of chemotherapy. After just two rounds of chemo she begin to experience severe side effects and she was then diagnosed with Gullian Barre Sydrome - whereby her immune system attacked her Brain, nervous system and spine, leaving her completely immobilized. Things further escalated to respiratory failure which required full ventilation and a tracheostomy. She spent over 1year in various hospital facilities all while remaining on a ventilator for 494 days.

During this time, she also had a cardiac event going without a pulse for over 11 minutes which cause a Traumatic Brain Injury. And months more hospitilations.

All praise to God, in February of 2025 Lisa was liberated from the ventilator and trach and now continues the battle of regaining her ability to walk and full use of her hands. So when you hear me call her my miracle super woman, she is just that and more!!

Our hope and prayer are that sharing our journey will continue to encourage others that God still works miracles and that Love conquers ALL.
