🍁Fall on the Katy is filling up fast — especially for groups

💯 If you’re planning a September or October ride through the Hermann/McKittrick area, now’s the time to lock in lodging.

🚴🏻‍♀️ October is Oktoberfest season in Hermann (every weekend in October). It’s one of the busiest stretches of the year on this section of the trail.

🍇 September is Harvest season — grape harvest is underway, the weather is usually excellent, and the fall colors start showing up.

📆 We’re already seeing weekends (especially those with 2+ suites needed) get harder to book. If your group needs multiple rooms or suites at the Mercantile, I’d recommend locking them in sooner rather than later.

👉🏼Good alternatives if peak weekends are already tight:

~ Mid-to-late September
~ Early November

Both still offer solid fall weather, fewer crowds than Oktoberfest weekends, and great riding conditions on the trail.

📍We’re right at the McKittrick trailhead (Katy Mile marker 100.😎 with several suites that work well for groups. Happy to help coordinate if you’re trying to keep everyone together.
