Texas boys are up and at it! The wind howled for a couple days and this morning is as perfect weather as you could ask for. We've been wet and there are plenty crops still standing, making some of the regular spots tougher to hunt. Bird numbers are up and the cover is heavy. Our grouse season was exceptional hoping the pheasant season is as well.

We were able to sneak in an evening dove hunt. No wind, cooler temps. Fall is here!

We run dogs everyday for the mind as much as the body. With upland season coming up, it's even more important to get the dogs legged up and ready for the heat and miles just around the corner.

AKC registered Bracco Italiano pups. 13 weeks old and ready to go. This litter produced fantastic pups. It's the 4th litter from the parents with great results. These 2 females are all birddog. Parents and siblings from prior litters have proven themselves here at the lodge. Shoot me a message and let's talk Braccos.
