An Agave plant here at The Desert Oasis Campground.
🌵 The stalk has risen… and with it, the beginning of the end.

An agave spends 15–30 years storing energy just for this moment. The stalk grows and flowers, then dies off. Its commonly known as a 'death bloom'.
