A few folks have reached out about remaining availability at the Armstrong Abode for the summer season!
As of right now, we only have two available dates in June and August:
Check in on Sunday, June 18th - Check out on Wednesday, June 21st (Fantastic way to start the summer with the kiddos and the dunes won't be that busy YET - plus all local attractions are OPEN)
Check in on Sunday, August 27th - Check out on Wednesday, August 30th (Another great time while some kiddos are heading back to school the following week, local attractions remain OPEN)
Two weekends remaining in September with open availability in October.

Spacious Silver Lake Retreat w/ Great Location

Time is flying and we are just under 1.5 months away from opening day at Think Dunes: Silver Lake Sand Dunes! Our calendar has filled up quickly again this year with many returning guests.
However, there is still open availability in April and May (minus Memorial Day weekend). Availability in June, July and August is pretty slim but we wanted to send out our calendar one more time to our friends and family who may still be booking their 2023 vacations in the famous Silver Lake Sand Dunes!
As a reminder, the dunes are open from Fool's Day to Ghoul's Day (04/01 - 10/31). If you have any questions on our cottage or availability, please let us know.

While we have many openings throughout April, May, September and October. We are almost completely booked in June and August and fully booked for July!

Our cottage is fully stocked, 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. 3 night minimum. We provide towels, bedding and everything in between - including a Twister board. We absolutely love our cottage - enjoying it this weekend (a winter wonderland currently).

July: Check in on Monday, July 11th through check out on Friday, June 15th (ONLY DATES LEFT AVAILABLE FOR JULY)

August: Check in on Sunday, August 7th through check out on Sunday, August 14th (ONLY FULL WEEK LEFT AVAILABLE FOR AUGUST)
Check in on Friday, August 26th with check out on Monday, August 29th (PERFECT 3 NIGHTS TO GET AWAY AND RIDE THE DUNES)

3 night minimum. Just bring yourself and maybe an extra pillow if you please. We provide everything else!

Calendar is open and we are nearly booked for July and August with only 4 nights being left available in July being check in on 07/11 with check out on 07/15 (Monday check in - Friday check out) and in August the week of 08/07 check in - 08/14 check out (Sunday - Sunday) with 3 night weekend availability at the end of August from 08/26 - 08/29 (Friday check in - Monday check out).
The ORV area of the dunes open on April 1st and closes on October 31st. Special events that we know for 2022 include:
Mac Wood's Dune Rides officially opens for season on Friday, April 13th 2022 - Cottage currently available
Ludington Lakestride Half Marathon (June 11th 2022) - Cottage currently available
Apple BBQ Festival (September 9th - September 10th 2022) - Cottage currently avaiable
We are still waiting for confirmation for Heroe's Weekend 2022 and Jeep Invasion is June 2nd 2022 - June 5th 2022 (cottage booked). Paul and I do plan to set up in the Silver Lake group a Raptor event as well during the week of August 14th - August 21st when we will be up there celebrating the big guy's 33rd birthday! We have officially opened up our 2022 calendar at the Armstrong Abode and are ready to open the doors of our cottage to share with our friends, family and beyond!
We are completely booked in July besides check in on July 7th through check out on July 15th. August is filling up quick as well! Reduced rates in April until Memorial Day and reduced rates to follow after Labor Day. The drag is back at the Silver Lake Michigan ~ Dunes! We cannot wait for the 2022 season!
