Meet Evan, our Sensational Staff Saturday spotlight! ☀️✨
We are beyond proud to spotlight the heart and soul of Camp W, our owner, Evan! Evan’s journey to creating this incredible camp family is a lifelong dream come true. When Evan’s sixth-grade teacher asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up, his response was automatic: “I want to own a day camp someday.”
Even back then, Evan passionately knew how special summer camp was. It wasn’t just a place to go; it was where he found a strong sense of belonging with his “camp family” for nine amazing weeks a year. As he beautifully sums it up, “It’s just who I am.” And that feeling has never changed.
Evan’s core philosophy is simple and drives everything we do: “Always do what’s best for the campers.”
Evan’s leadership keeps Camp W focused on creating a supportive, high-energy environment. He works directly with the leadership team to ensure every camper feels welcome, builds genuine friendships, and stays engaged through both favorite traditions and new activities.
Evan’s dedication, lifelong passion, and immense heart ensure that our camp families rest easy knowing their kids are in the absolute best hands. His childhood wish came true, and every single day he works to make sure our campers’ summer wishes come true, too. We are incredibly lucky to have him leading the way! ❤️
