It’s often the little things our guests remember most.

The warm bathroom floors in the morning. A record spinning while you get ready for dinner. The unexpected piece of vintage furniture. A quiet corner of the garden you end up sitting in longer than planned. And the fact that some of Mendocino’s favorite restaurants, shops, galleries, and coastline are just outside the door.

Room 1 has a few new additions, and we’re loving how she’s looking. 👛

A vintage settee, a cozy reading chair, a few thoughtfully sourced pieces, and suddenly we’re thinking girls’ trip, sisters’ getaway, mother-daughter weekend… you name it.

One of our favorite parts of Nicholson House is that the rooms are never really “finished.” We’re always keeping an eye out for unique furniture, art, and vintage finds that feel like they belong here, then having a little too much fun finding them a home.
