Woodland Ridge Retreat is located in the rural village of Downsville, Wisconsin just a few blocks from the Red Cedar State Bicycle Trail. No expense was spared when this Frank Lloyd Wright inspired building was built in 1997 as the luxury hotel addition to the Creamery Restaurant and Inn. Walls of windows fill the interior spaces with views looking out on the woodlands and private garden courtyard

s. Handmade tiles, from Dunn County Pottery, feature leaves of native trees and add a special touch to each guest room. Our facility is open 44 weeks per year offering deluxe accommodations, including eight large, quiet guest rooms, a whirlpool bathtub and separate shower in every room, comfortable full-sized beds. Each guest room can comfortably sleep three guest per room for a total of 24 guests. The facility is on one level with ADA accessible guest accommodations. The building features two Garden Rooms or gathering rooms. Each garden room can accommodate up to 12 guests, for a total of 24, at individual workspaces. Solid surface worktables are adjustable in height so each guest will have a workspace that is suited to their stature. Whether you enjoy sewing, scrapbooking or any other creative endeavor we have a comfortable spot for you. Join us for a class or gather your favorite friends together to work on projects of your own. Dye Candy Fabrics and Woodland Ridge Retreat are hiring!

Full Time Position: Retail Sales Associate for our fabric store 4 days per week plus one day per week assisting with housekeeping.

Part Time Position: One day per week assisting with housekeeping. Additional hours available in fabric store for retail sales and some occasional cooking shifts.

The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail, cleaning and cooking skills and enjoy being around people. Food Service Sanitation certified is a plus.

Work week includes one weekend day and weekdays with hours between the hours of 6:30 am and 4pm and occasional evenings shifts in the colder months. Pay starts at $16-18/hr. Schedule provided one month in advance. No holiday shifts.

Woodland Ridge Retreat hosts creative guests throughout the year and hosts 15 multi-day fiber art workshops with nationally and internationally recognized instructors. Dye Candy Fabrics is our onsite fabric store.
