I’ve always been a morning person. Thank goodness… Petey and I get an early start preparing breakfast for our guests!

The light spilling in makes me happy, as does the camera my brother found on one of his tours of duty and brought home for me. Little things, full of meaning.

This time of year feels especially lovely—the crisp air, the cool mornings, and the warmth of the kitchen as breakfast comes together.

A little dirt under my nails and a whole lot of hope! 🌱 Our fall beds at Andiamo are finally planted, and I’m crossing my fingers I wasn’t too late.

I just love our little potting shed—full of books, creative things to do, and inspiration for whatever we might grow or make next. One of my favorite little corners of Andiamo.

Now come on, little plants… let’s grow! 🍂

Wow, time flies! In October 2021, we teamed up with a coffee guru to create our very own Andiamo Let’s Go Joe coffee blend. Five years and more cups than we can count later, it’s still how we love to start the day.
Roasted fresh for us every week, it’s available at and online—a little taste of Andiamo to take home.
But this time of year? We think it’s best served with a warm smile, a cozy fire, and our signature Andiamo breakfast.

Steve is at our home on the coast, taking care of things and looking after his mom and brother. We’re keeping everyone in the storm’s path in our hearts and praying for the safety of all.

Save the date… better yet, save the whole weekend!

May 7–9, we’re welcoming the one and only Mary Ella Gabler of Peacock Alley linens to Andiamo Lodge—and y’all, we are over the moon!

We’ve got a fab weekend planned: a pop-up shop at the Gallery by Andiamo Lodge, a little “Beducation” with Mary Ella, and a Conversation at the Andiamo Table. Beautiful linens, wonderful stories, delicious food, and a chance to spend time with the woman behind a brand we love.

Spring is going to be pretty super at Andiamo Lodge! Mark your calendars and stay tuned for all the lovely details.

Happy birthday to sweet Savannah! Tonight I got to take her to dinner and celebrate this bright young woman who has been part of our Andiamo team .
Savannah is a senior at Fort Payne High School, a member of the marching band, and smart as a whip! She has her sights set on university to study culinary arts and psychology—a wonderful mix of understanding food and people.
We are so lucky to have her at the lodge. Watching young talent grow and shine is one of the joys of what we do, and young people like Savannah make the future of hospitality look bright.
Happy birthday, Savannah! We appreciate you, we’re cheering you on, and we can’t wait to see where you go. 💛
