Coffee above the clouds at The Hideaway. ☕️☁️

Our guests shared these beautiful photos from their stay this weekend—fog filling the valley and soft pink skies over the mountains. A lovely reminder to slow down, sip your coffee, and enjoy the view.
Thank you to our guests for sharing these moments with us! 🤍

Some guests are just a little extra special. ❤️
Last year, guests got engaged while staying at a Delightful Retreats property. 💍
Today, they’re checking into The Shire to celebrate their one-year anniversary, so of course we had to leave a little something waiting for them. 💐
Getting to be a tiny part of the big moments — proposals, anniversaries, birthdays, family trips and everything in between — is one of our favorite parts of what we do.
From “YES!” to one year later… we’re so happy they chose Delightful Retreats again. ❤️
Happy Anniversary! 🥂🏡

Same cabin. Same stay. Different price.

VRBO is increasing its platform fee from 5% to 12% this month — while still charging guests a separate service fee.

And Airbnb? Their fee structure isn’t exactly cheap either.

The result is pretty simple: the exact same vacation rental can cost you more depending on where you book it.

Rates are currently 18.5% higher on Airbnb and 17% higher on VRBO than when you book directly through Delightful Retreats.

When you book direct, there’s no added booking or service fee.

Same property. Same management. Same stay.
Just less money going to a booking platform.
