Grooming operations are at about 75 percent. We are working new areas daily. The busy weekend set our base back a bit but new snow that we received should improve the system.

MECCA Trail Report:
Groomers are busy rolling all 21k of ski trails today! Trails should finished grooming later tonight or early tomorrow. We have 5” of new snow on the ground and it’s still snowing.

Winman Trails:
Cross-Country Ski: OPEN - Entire system had the skate lanes compacted and combed and tracks reset. Temperatures are hovering around 31 degrees today with more snow expected throughout the day. The deck itself should firm up nicely by 9am but the falling snow is sticky and wet.
Snowshoe: OPEN - Snowshoes are required. Great time to explore the Northwoods.
Fat Tire Bike: OPEN - We are out grooming the entire fat bike system this morning and will be working on it throughout the day and tomorrow as more snow accumulates. Expect soft conditions with falling snow but by Friday conditions should be excellent.

North Lakeland Discovery Center:
The trails are open and have had light foot and snowshoe traffic, but may have some icy spots, so please use caution. All trails have been rolled/groomed and our maintenance staff set tracks for classic cross-country skiing on December 21st. Please note some snow has fallen since the tracks were set. We will update this post again when additional grooming has occurred.

Ski hills are opening early this year! Our 3BR/2BA sleeps 11 in Northwoods Mercer is open for the season! It's 35 min drive to several ski hills that you can use your ski pass! Cooper Pass (Whitecap and Powerhorn) and Indy Pass (Big Powerhorn and Snowriver) and others (Mt. Zion and Minocqua Winterpark).

The cabin is also on Iron County snowmobile trail that you can enjoy scenic rides in Northwoods and UP and within 5 min to MECCA cross-country skiing and snowshoe trails. The cabin also has a game room, outdoor firepit, and close to downtown for great food. Lots of parking spaces.

Prime time summer opening 7/16-7/23 available! 3BR/2BA lakefront cabin sleep 11 in Northwoods Mercer. On a full recreational lake with private pier and sandy shore. Good fishing and canoeing. Have a game room, fire pit, next to playground and swimming platform. Close to golf course and downtown for great food and live music.
