Our last full week pot luck. We have people next week, but we're on a 4-night minimum.

Did you know that we could classify as a green resort? We just don't want to pay the hundreds of dollars to be on the green list.
We have a recycle bin in every cabin and a recycled dumpster. We have a compost area behind the fish cleaning house for fruit and vegetable refuse. We are now using all natural sponges, compostable garbage bags and compostable items like plates, forks and cups for potluck.
We do what we can to help the environment and hope you do at home too.

It's our annual Adaptive Sportsmen rally. People with disabilities come to try out kayaks, Track Chairs, ATVs and bicycles. They provide the food and I do all the cooking for them. And people come and go in the lodge all day long. It is a great time for people to get together. Co-sponsored by Adaptive Sportsmen Incorporated - ASI .

A very special heartfelt thank you to Jim Habanek, who donated his pontoon to our resort to take people with disabilities out on the lake. We just took it out for a test drive, and it runs beautifully! We cannot thank you enough! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You are amazing.

After 27 years running PFL, John is now 70, but we still love it here and PFL is going strong. We have sold 7 of our cabins with an accepted offer now on Ironwood. We are going to hold on to Aspen, Hemlock and the main lodge. The owners of Ash have recently put it on the market. If you have questions, give us a call at 715.476.2241
