sits on over 10 acres of rolling meadows and private forest, The Inn is also
bordered by

178 acres of town owned recreational land consisting of beautiful
hiking trails, walking paths, small ponds, and plenty of wildlife. Our guests often
mention the setting at the Inn is so private and serene yet close to so many
fabulous restaurants and shops of the Lakes Region.

Dave and I will be returning to operate the Inn this summer! We look forward to meeting new people and new experiences. Welcome Ron Scovill to the Ballard House Inn as our new breakfast chef! Ron has years and years of owning his own restaurant and I look forward to his recipes for our guests.

To my dear sweet Emma, there aren’t enough words to say how grateful I am for all the help you gave to me this summer. You embraced being an Innkeeper, at 19 years old, your compassion and hard work willl pay off, and I can’t think of anyone else I would rather hand over the Inn than you and your mom!!!!
