It’s Monday and we have some very exciting news!!

Skyridge Interiors has partnered with Monique for our Airbnb start ups! We’re receiving new leads on clients seeking our services in design + furnishings with their investment homes and getting them ready for short term rentals.

We’ve updated & upgraded some finishes at The Capri House.

Our biggest change was pulling up all the carpet and vinyl from the entire first floor and replacing it with waterproof laminate flooring.

Bye bye 👋🏻 faux travertine style vinyl and carpet in the dining room 🫣. You won’t be missed! 🥾

Also, would you agree that a vanity cabinet for guests is a must over a pedestal sink? We snagged this vanity (with hardware, faucet, sink and Quartz included) for under $200!!! 😳

We couldn’t do it first and foremost, without our AMAZING 🤩 clients who are always so kind, easy to communicate with and respectful of the space. 🙌🏻

And, just as importantly, we couldn’t achieve this status without our amazing team (aka my husband/co-host/handyman/excel sheet tracking master), our lawn care maintenance crew, our trustworthy and rockstar cleaning crew and the local plumbers, hvac, appliance techs that are readily available should any last min. item arise.

We’re about to knock out some major • SPRING CLEANING • @ the Capri House Airbnb.

Scroll through if you’re in need of some tips of how to get motivated. ➡️

Here’s a list of some of our top areas we’ll be focusing on… I’m curious, what’s on your list?

✔️ removing and cleaning the vents
✔️ cleaning all glass surfaces (windows, light fixtures, etc.).
✔️ getting up high (dusting fans, tops of window and door casings) and low (dusting baseboards).
✔️ touching up paint
✔️ cleaning the blinds
✔️ sweeping out the garage
✔️ cleaning inside the cabinets
✔️ checking for expiration dates in the pantry
✔️ deep cleaning the appliances

Are we forgetting anything? 😅

Thankfully we have a stellar cleaning crew who is efficient in Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning guidelines and takes care of the rest in between our bookings.

Would you keep LIVING PLANTS 🌱 in your STR (Short Term Rental)?

This little guy has been rocking it in one of our guest rooms @ the Capri House since near the beginning. There was a point where he was looking a little rough after having a month long booking, but thankfully our cleaning crew gives this guy a little love after each turn over and he’s still thriving.
