👋🏻 h•e•y t•h•e•r•e ! I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself.
My name is Cheryl and I’m the owner and designer behind Skyridge Interiors.
I have always had a passion for design…. As in a l w a y s ! Even at a young age I can recall my neighbor friends inviting me over to play Barbie.. I would find myself rearranging the furniture in Barbies DreamHouse instead. As a young kid, my Dad built a bedroom out of unfinished attic space and put an “address” sign on the outside of the room: 1️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣1️⃣ 4 kids; our address and a nod to us four kids. Immediately this became my “studio apartment” which I proudly took full ownership to decorate for every holiday and eventually rearrange the furniture in my room every chance I had. Once I outgrew my “apartment”, I would host painting parties in my new room with friends…
Anyone else remember sponge painting as an accent wall? 🫣
I took a duel credit design class in high school and I haven’t changed my career path since!
My first four years out of College I worked for a membership based company in CA and worked with clients who were mainly doing kitchen and bath remodels or refurnishing their homes. After moving to Idaho in 2010 and seeing all the new home construction that came with the population growth, I found a new kind of love for design in this field. There’s just something about watching a home being built from the ground up, the smell of fresh cut wood during site visits at framing stage and watching the design come to life.
After navigating the pandemic with a newborn in tow and as a first time mom, I decided to push that “reset” button on 2020. As much as I cherished having that first year at home with my daughter, I was ready to jump back into the design world. I launched Skyridge Interiors in 2021 with a passion for all things interior.
Whether it’s working with a client on a remodel or direct with a builder on new construction designs, I enjoy helping my clients in providing them with a smooth process and a thoughtfully crafted design that fits their unique lifestyle and personality or brand.
