Nordic season is upon us!

OPERATIONS UPDATE!!
The season is upon us! Our trails at County Line and Skyway got about 18 inches of snow out of this last storm, and we’re bringing up our snowmobiles today and tomorrow to start packing some trails to help form a good base for the next snowfall. Our Forest Service permit allows us to groom from November 15 to April 15, but the Forest Service has given us permission to start some snow prep operations before then. We’ll be snowmobile packing some trails at both County Line and Skyway over the next few days. Please be patient — there’s a lot of prep work to do to get the equipment out. Check our grooming report for the latest updates.

VERY IMPORTANT: For your own safety, please stay off Scales Lake Road until we begin grooming it on November 15. There is a logging project (to the east of our trails) that is finishing up and they are hauling logs out on Scales Lake Road. They will be finished by or before the 15th and we will resume normal grooming on Scales then. Montrose Forest Products is managing the project, and they have been working with us to ensure that their work doesn’t impact our season. Please be courteous and help us maintain this good relationship.
