On Oct 20 there were a couple different activities. The 2027 presumptive officers moved to the lodge room to discuss 2027 plans while the brethren and attending spouses remained in the dining area to talk about upcoming activities, mostly the Open House with family activities and Trunk 'n Treat the evening of October 30.

October 13 was a get-out-of-lodge meeting at Phantom Fox/Goat & Ram (150 W Main St Mesa) for Oriental #20. The libations and eclectic pizza offerings were enjoyed while conversation and fellowship reigned supreme.

October 6 was the Stated Meeting for Oriental 20. As shown in a previous post Br John was awarded the old lodge seal as a medallion. Prior to opening Lodge. the Friend to Friend attendees were able to introduce themselves to the brethren so we could get to know them better. Lodge business was handled appropriately by WM Frank and we will reconvene for light discussion and heavy socialization next Tuesday at the Goat and Ram on W Main St in Mesa.

Oriental Lodge awarded Treasurer Br. John Durham the old Embosser Lodge Seal as a Jewel to wear for the rest of his Masonic Career. This was presented with a letter from the Grand Master Roger Biedie III.

Oriental 20 performed a First Degree practice on Sept 29 with many members stepping in and up to perform the degree. Br Michael was acting Master and MM Br Bryan volunteered to receive the Re-Entered Apprentice Degree. The fellowship meal was well attended and thoroughly enjoyed. During the Introduction portion of the meeting, the brethren had the pleasure of meeting WB David from Cauvery Lodge No. 3848 in the jurisdiction of THE DISTRICT GRAND LODGE OF MADRAS in India.

Sept 22 was an education night for Oriental 20. Friend to Friend, attending members and guests witnessed Br. Chris speak about Gnosticism and how it is understood by the Craft. Very Interesting evening as it is always enlightening to find out what you don't know.

On Sept 15 Br Todd became a Fellowcraft, furthering his bond with the Fraternity. Dinner was prepared and served by Mesa Starlight #16 and was enjoyed by all. Friend to Friend (F2F) was well attended and the F2F recognition area was completed as going from Friend to Brother should be recognized and celebrated.

Several Brothers from Oriental Lodge went through the Royal Arch degree for York Rite today in Globe!

Damascus Chapter 21 welcomed several new Royal Arch Companions today in Globe!

September 8th was a late night at Oriental 20 as Br Larry was raised to the degree of Master Mason. Great fellowship prior to the degree work and the Friend to Friend group had lively discussion centered on self-discovery. Next Tuesday, September 15 will be a Fellowcraft Degree and all eligible masons are welcome. Dinner at 6PM - and the gavel drops at 7PM.

September 1 was our monthly Stated Meeting where we do planning and activity coordination for the month. After the pre-meeting fellowship meal everyone, including our Friend to Friend contingent and attending spouses, meet in the Lodge room for introductions and general announcements prior to the meeting.
