September 1 was our monthly Stated Meeting where we do planning and activity coordination for the month. After the pre-meeting fellowship meal everyone, including our Friend to Friend contingent and attending spouses, meet in the Lodge room for introductions and general announcements prior to the meeting.

Scroll down to the July 22 post to see where Mesa FD, specifically the crew of L201, assisted Oriental #20 in releasing a tangled flag from the lodge flagpole. Now return to August 25 when Oriental 20 not only raised Br Bryan to the sublime degree of Master Mason but welcomed and honored the L201 crew during our fellowship hour prior to the scheduled meeting. The crew is pictured with Br Jason from Oriental #20 who coordinated the flag rescue and the visit from the crew. Br Jason, Thanks and Br Bryan, Congratulations.

On August 18 Br. Ramon continued his Masonic journey as he was passed to the Fellowcraft Degree. Congratulations Brother!

August 11 was a special night for Br Ramon (l) as he passed Nobbie to Oriental 20's newest EA Br Jim (r.) It was a great night of ritual as we welcomed Br Jim to the Fraternity to begin his Masonic journey.

August 4 was the monthly Stated (Business) Meeting for Oriental 20. The Friend to Friend (Seekers) were in attendance in the lodge room prior to the meeting and had a chance to introduce themselves to the members present. In turn, they received encouragement from the brethren to continue their exploration of Masonry and life. We had a great dinner prior to the meeting and great harmony during the meeting.

July 28 was an exciting evening at Oriental 20. Br Larry was passed to Fellowcraft and Brs Todd and Bryan repaired the air conditioning unit that cools the lodge room. Thanks to their efforts everyone survived without medical intervention. The Friend to Friend room had 2 new attendees and we look forward to seeing them back with us soon.

July 21 was an educational gathering and a fine example of Masonic sharing as the East Valley York Rite performed the Mark Mason Degree for the 19 Master Masons in attendance. This was a great introduction into York Rite ceremony and teachings.

From WB Frank Donald - current master of Oriental Lodge - a big thank you to Ladder 201 for their help in getting our snagged flag down today! And a big thank you to our Brother Jason for taking time out of the day and going down and getting assistance to help recover the flag.

Br Ramon received his EA degree on July 14. There was a sizeable representation of brothers there to support him. There was great fellowship both before and after the degree.
