This week, the top of the Resort received 6” of snow—a promising start to the winter ahead! Our tentative Winter Opening Day remains scheduled for Friday, November 20th.

Our crew have swapped chainsaws for snowmaking lines, in preparation to fire the guns up later this week—and then as often as possible—whenever humidity and temperature levels are right.

The Wild West Express is nearly complete. Historically, the West End terrain reaches sufficient snow depth to open in mid-December. We’ve scheduled the Wild West Grand Opening for December 18th, and we’ll keep sharing photos and updates as opening approaches!

Until then: wax your skis, find your gloves, text your riding buddies, and put your Season Pass in the freezer for good luck. Our staff will be at our Admin Office (in the third parking lot) for preseason Pass pickup, Monday-Friday 10-5, and we’ll continue to respond to your calls and messages here and at [email protected]. Fingers crossed, we’ll all be on the slopes in just 36 days.

Grab your sunscreen and retro sunglasses, your denim and day-glow jackets, and your riding buddies! Next year marks our 60-year anniversary and the arrival of the new Wild West Express lift. While our beloved West End is now closed for the season, it still deserves a proper send-off after over five decades of service.

Join us Sunday, March 15, on the Sunset Deck, for free food, drinks, and live music from roughly 11am-3pm. We have pulled a few of the West End Chairs to bring over so you get one more picture with the 2 Chair. Come hang out, swap stories, and enjoy the last moments before we close a chapter of Colorado ski history!

We’ve rolled back ticket pricing and are bringing back the 3 Hour Flex tickets for $64. We hope to see you all there!
