Air quality at The Hat: a little visible smoke the last couple mornings which dissapates by noon. The Babylon Fire is about 45 miles north of us, it's over 70,300 acres today, big enough we can see the smoke from here.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by these horrible fires, the firefighters, homeowners, livestock and wildlife and especially the families and friends of the 3 firefighters who lost their lives in the Snyder Fire.
Although we're in a 'safe zone' there will be no fireworks this year.
We've discounted our rooms for the many travelers who must make new plans.
