Mexico Beach is a beautiful little beach town located just east of Panama City and a great location to relax and get away from the crowds and traffic of Panama City or Destin. It's very family friendly and is a terrific location to do day trips to Apalachicola, Cape San Blas state park, and if you want, shopping in Panama City and Destin. The people are friendly and you will feel like you have stepped back in time. We don't have high rises or crazy spring breaks. We specialize in happy, relaxed and beautiful long days at the beach enjoying the very best of Florida.

The fall is so beautiful at the beach and you can live like a local - no lines at our wonderful restaurants. During September and October, Thursday night means music in the parks! In September, you can bring your lawn chair and enjoy great music at our gorgeous new amphitheater. In October, head down the road a few miles and check out the music at Veterans Park. Thursdays are the best!

I SPY - Toucan’s decor is returning! Look closely. They have begun putting bamboo around the bottom of the outside. 🌴🌴🌴And from the boxes I see around, there’s a whole lot more coming. Also, notice the palm fronds on the top of the roof at the entrance and the small totem poles by the front door. 🤔

I think the new Toucan's on the Beach is going to have a nice nod to the old Toucan’s on the Beach! I’m excited to see the progress continue. And no, I have no idea when they will be open. I’m just a fan - like you! VacationMexicoBeach.com
