Our goal is to make it easy for you to plan and enjoy your vacation, so we treat our guests like family, providing many creature comforts, and detailed recommendations of our favorite places. Mexico Beach is a beautiful little beach town located just east of Panama City and a great location to relax and get away from the crowds and traffic of Panama City or Destin. It's very family friendly and is a terrific location to do day trips to Apalachicola, Cape San Blas state park, and if you want, shopping in Panama City and Destin. The people are friendly and you will feel like you have stepped back in time. We don't have high rises or crazy spring breaks. We specialize in happy, relaxed and beautiful long days at the beach enjoying the very best of Florida.

VRBO and Airbnb charge crazy fees and donโ€™t allow us to talk to the guest directly until after they book. When we need to help people find the right property, this becomes very frustrating for everyone.

HURRICANE UPDATE - It is a terrible irony that we are sitting here just one day before the 8th anniversary of that beastly Hurricane Michael awaiting the arrival of yet another storm. Now upgraded to a Category 3 storm, Hurricane Isaias is projected to come ashore between Pensacola and Mobile but with wind and flooding impacts to the west, including in our area. We pray for our neighbors and profoundly hope that this is just a heavy wind and rain event.

Mexico Beach has issued a voluntary evacuation for residents/visitors on the beachside of Highway 98 and for the rest of the community. We released all of our guests for the week and for the upcoming weekend yesterday so there is no one in our properties.

Thank you to so many who have reached out to us. We are fine and expect to weather this storm without any problems outside of the Mexico Beach area.

Vacation Mexico Beach is truly a family business. April and Cheri, and our husbands, Chris and Mark, though storm weary, are ready for whatever comes. We are grateful to our family, friends, guests, local partners and the leadership of Mexico Beach, both government and private sector, for the strong community we have built.

Assuming that we escape unscathed, we would be happy to work with any of our neighbors who may need temporary housing after the storm.

We are truly and we are a community all along the Gulf Coast.

OPENING TUESDAY

We are excited that another landmark restaurant will be opening soon. Ralphieโ€™s looks to be a classic seafood hangout, right on the Bay at the Point St. Joe Marina.

From Grouper Piccata to Ribeyes and seafood baskets, and with an extensive kids menu, this restaurant looks like itโ€™s going to hit the spot! We love pulling our boat up into the marina and enjoying a delicious lunch while we drool over the fancy boats.

This restaurant is from the two young men who brought us Uptown Raw Bar and expanded their vision right on the waterfront.
