The house has SOLD! Thank you to all who stayed with us at the Bed & Breakfast and also who stood by us as friends over the 15 years we were at the old A.P. Green mansion. We are pleased to look toward the future and to see what God has for us next.

A.P. Green House Bed and Breakfast is now open for business once again. We closed temporarily for health reasons when the covid-19 struck. We are excited to announce that although covid is still around, we are open for business. We are still limiting the number of guests we take at one time to ensure safety and health of our guests, but welcome you to go ahead and schedule your next getaway. We look forward to seeing old friends again and adding new ones to our family.

Co-Owner Janine Vogel planted these thinking they were seeds for Zinnias. But as soon as the heat gave way to fall, these beautiful flowers popped up! If anyone knows what they are, we’re open to some knowledge on the subject.

A recent request for room prices has spurred this post along. Thanks for the great question Rhonda K. Myers!

The prices range from $150 for a Queen Room, $165 for the Honeymoon Hideaway, $185 for a King Suite. All rooms have their own on-suite bath. Our fourth room is $225 for The Family Suite ~ which includes two bedrooms which feature a queen and a double bed, along with a shared on-suite bath between them.

Guests have access to all common areas of the house including the portico, sun deck, and other outside areas. We have a hot tub, a library, and board game and dvd selection available for use.

All guests are welcomed with fresh baked cookies, along with self service coffee and tea available anytime. Guests also receive a multi-course gourmet breakfast each morning.

Dinner you say? Yes, this is dinner. It’s what you’d get if we served dinner! Having a Co-Owner Chef around all the time is a real treat! Just ask our family that visits from time to time!

Last nights dinner was a grilled Ribeye with asparagus and French baguette. The asparagus is seasoned with Chef Michael’s own blend, topped with cherry tomatoes, parmesan cheese and then a wonderful drizzle of aged balsamic vinegar before they return to the oven one last time for a quick broil.

Dinner at the B&B:
The Bed & Breakfast has on (very) few occasions prepared dinner for a guest or two,
So it (can) be arranged. It would take some convincing though! So if your the romantic type (ahem husbands!, that’s you!) - contact us to arrange your special fall getaway with your still beautiful bride!

With some extra convincing with our chef, you could (possibly) arrange a snack to take with you as you visit local and distant wineries before you return to the Bed & Breakfast for some very fine food!
