Comfort Suites Miami Airport North spreads holiday cheer beyond the borders, bringing the spirit of the season to underprivileged children in Nicaragua. For weeks, the TripAdvisor award-winning property collected toys in its lobby. Front Desk Supervisor Damaris Rivas, a Nicaragua native, then took on the role of “Mama Noel” and traveled to her home country to hand-deliver the gifts to the children.

The Toy Drive brought together not only guests, but also the entire hotel family and members of the local community to help those less fortunate during this holiday season. After this year’s outpouring of support, Comfort Suites Miami Airport North intends to make the Toy Drive an annual tradition.

I would like to thank all the people that were part of The Comfort Suites and Days Inn 2012 Toy Drive. It was a big success and brought many smiles to children in need.
