Last week, GMBHA President & CEO Curtis J. Crider attended the Miami-Dade County League of Cities’ 72nd Annual Gala Dinner at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel. The event brought together elected officials, community leaders, and business professionals from across Miami-Dade County for an evening of celebration and collaboration. ✨

It was great to connect with Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Rolando Aedo of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), Dariel Fernandez, Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, Monty Trainer, President Emeritus of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, and many other leaders who continue to help shape the future of our community.

On May 28, GMBHA President & CEO Curtis J. Crider had the honor of attending the Italian National Day Celebration at The Biltmore Hotel. 🇮🇹✨

The evening brought together distinguished guests, community leaders, and business professionals to celebrate Italian heritage, culture, and the strong ties between Italy and South Florida. Curtis was pleased to join Consul General of Italy in Miami Michele Mistò and GMBHA Executive Board of Director Member Florencia Tabeni for this special occasion, which highlighted the importance of international partnerships and cultural connections within our community.

An Expo Table is your front-row space to connect at the 30th Annual Inn Key Awards Luncheon ✨

Expo Tables are an exclusive benefit available to active GMBHA members only (Allied and allied upgrade). Members may access this benefit by purchasing their luncheon ticket registration.

At this year’s Inn Key Awards, expo tables provide organizations, partners, and vendors with a dedicated space to showcase their brand, share their services, and engage directly with attendees throughout the event. It is a dynamic way to spark conversations, highlight what you offer, and connect with hospitality professionals all in one place.

Earlier this week, GMBHA President & CEO Curtis J. Crider was inducted into the 2026 Public School Alumni Achievement program during The Education Fund’s awards ceremony, recognizing community leaders who graduated from Miami-Dade Public Schools and have gone on to achieve great success while making a positive impact throughout South Florida. ✨

A proud South Miami Cobras graduate, Curtis continues to make a difference through his leadership, dedication, and commitment to Miami’s hospitality and tourism industry.

The event also helped support an important cause, with proceeds benefiting arts education and The Education Fund Ocean Bank Center for Educational Materials. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! 🏆
