Every wall has a story to uncover. 🎨

This vibrant mural is the work of Kenny Scharf, the iconic American artist who rose to prominence alongside Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat in New York’s downtown art scene of the 1980s.

At its center, a giant red nose and jagged teeth emerge from a psychedelic crowd of Scharf’s signature monsters, aliens, and melting cartoon faces. His distinctive Pop Surrealist style brings together street art, comic books, science fiction, and the animated characters of mid-century popular culture.

Scharf was among the original artists invited to Wynwood Walls for its inaugural launch in 2009. While the museum’s murals continue to evolve, his colorful characters have remained a recognizable part of its story.
