Thank you for your love and support over the last few years! We have officially handed Buttonwood Inn over to her new owners. We wish them many years of happy memories in their new home. 🩷

Today is a bittersweet day as we put Buttonwood Inn back on the market. It has been such an amazing experience to host a wide range of guests, from bands to film crews to extended families and friend groups. Our overnight guests have been the most fantastic people imaginable. We have had the honor of celebrating couples about to be married and couples who have been married for decades, expectant mothers and milestone birthdays. We have hosted fundraisers, graduation parties, weddings, and so many other special occasions. This house is such an absolute treasure, as are all of the visitors who have come through its front doors.

When we purchased Buttonwood Inn, we were looking ahead to when our five children would be in school all day and I would have my days free to maintain the home and focus on hosting responsibilities. Since then, we began homeschooling and this season of life is much more full (in the best way!) than we anticipated. Our family simply must come first. As sad as it is to pass this beautiful piece of history along to someone else, we feel it is the best way to allow our family to flourish and Buttonwood Inn to continue to be used to its fullest potential.

Our intention is to sell Buttonwood Inn with all of its contents so the next owners can continue its operation as a Short Term Rental, if they so choose.
