Recently, team members represented NCG Hospitality at the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and returned with valuable insights to share.

The evening featured keynote speaker Dr. Lindy Elkins-Tanton, planetary scientist and leader of NASA's Psyche mission. Her message focused on effective leadership, building strong teams, and moving forward together under pressure.

While hospitality and space exploration may seem worlds apart, strong teams and great leadership are essential to both!

During our Q3 Get Connected event, the group went out for some fun and games where attendees tested their axe throwing skills and held a surprisingly competitive game of Hammerschlagen.
 
Turns out we’ve got some hidden pros in the group. 🪓
 
Congrats to our winners for claiming the top spot and proving they can handle a target, a hammer, and a little pressure. ✨

We love seeing our teams give back to their communities!🤝

Recently, our AC Hotel by Marriott Madison Downtown team assembled birthday celebration bags for The River Food Pantry, filling each one with cake supplies and a birthday card.🍰These bags will help more community members celebrate their special day! Special shoutout to General Manager, Ranette Maurer, for creating so many opportunities for the team to give back.

At our Get Connected event for new team members, they worked together to create blankets for Ronald McDonald House Madison. It was more than just a team building activity. It was an opportunity to support families navigating difficult circumstances and help provide a small measure of comfort during their stay.

We believe hospitality extends beyond our hotel doors. Here at NCG Hospitality, we strive to support and strengthen the communities where our team members and guests live, work, and play.

For Housekeeping Week, some of our Arizona properties wanted combined fun with a little friendly competition!

This eleven year old tradition has become a favorite among team members. This year, six of our Arizona property teams competed in a relay-style competition featuring five events designed to put their housekeeping skills to the test. From sweeping and making a guest bed to vacuuming carpet, folding towels, and stuffing pillowcases, each team raced against the clock to win🧹

Congratulations to the top three teams:
🥉 3rd Place: Mop Mafia – Glendale Westgate Campus (Home2 Suites, Tru, and Hampton)
🥈 2nd Place: Hot Shots – Phoenix Downtown Hampton Inn & Suites
🥇 1st Place: Happy Valley Heroes – Happy Valley Hampton Inn & Suites/Happy Valley Homewood Suites

NCG Hospitality was proud to celebrate two incredible team members recognized at the 2026 Women In Hospitality Conference at the beautiful Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center 🌅

Congratulations Sheri Straka, Regional Director of Operations, named one of the Top 20 Women to Watch in Hospitality, and Keely Liska, Group Coordinator at AC Hotel by Marriott Madison Downtown who received a Rising Star Award.🌠

It was a powerful day of celebrating women, building connections, sharing ideas, and creating space for the next generation of women in hospitality to lead and inspire. Congratulations to all women recognized for their valuable contributions to the industry.🏆

Our latest NCG Corporate Office outing brought us to the bowling alley for an afternoon of friendly competition and team connection. It is always great spending time with such an amazing team, both on and off the lanes!
