Supporting a Great Cause in Our Community

On August 19, Worshipful Master, Barry D. Krushinsky attended the Central PA Children’s Dyslexia Center Board meeting and proudly presented a check on behalf of Prince Edwin-Spring Creek Lodge No. 486. The donation represented proceeds from our May 2026 Election Day Spaghetti Dinner.

We are grateful to everyone who purchased a meal, volunteered their time, or helped make the dinner a success. Your support allows our Lodge to give back to organizations doing important work in our community.

And remember — our next Election Day Spaghetti Dinner is right around the corner!

What a great evening at National Night Out in Middletown! 🇺🇸

Members of Prince Edwin–Spring Creek Lodge No. 486 were proud to join the Middletown community at Hoffer Park for this year's National Night Out. Throughout the evening, we enjoyed handing out cold water and snacks while visiting with so many members of our community.

One of the best parts of the evening was simply taking the time to talk with our neighbors. We appreciated hearing your kind feedback about our past community events and the excitement many of you shared about our upcoming Halloween Community Night and Election Day Spaghetti Dinner. It's always encouraging to see how much these events mean to the community.

Thank you to the Middletown Borough Police Department and Middletown Volunteer Fire Department for organizing another outstanding National Night Out and for all they do to keep our community safe.

At Prince Edwin–Spring Creek Lodge No. 486, we believe Freemasonry is about more than our meetings—it's about serving our neighbors, building friendships, and making a positive difference in the community we call home.

We look forward to seeing everyone again at our upcoming community events!

Prince Edwin-Spring Creek Lodge No. 486 was pleased to support Pilgrim DeMolay at a recent meeting that marked the conclusion of Master Councilor Ian Nalepka's term of office. The evening was especially memorable as Ian had the opportunity to initiate four new young men into the Order of DeMolay.

DeMolay provides young men with opportunities to develop leadership skills, build strong friendships, and learn the importance of service, responsibility, and character. As Freemasons, we recognize the value of investing in our youth and encouraging the next generation of leaders.

Representing Prince Edwin-Spring Creek Lodge were Brothers Barry D. Krushinsky, Worshipful Master; William Molchany, Senior Deacon; and W. Bryan Hoover III, P.M., Secretary.

We extend our congratulations to the four newest members of Pilgrim DeMolay and our appreciation to Master Councilor Ian Nalepka for his dedicated service and leadership throughout his term. Thank you to all who continue to support the important work of DeMolay.

Members of Perseverance Royal Arch Chapter No. 21 had the privilege of attending a meeting of Pilgrim DeMolay. It was a special evening as Master Councilor Ian Nalepka presided over his final meeting in office and had the honor of initiating four new young men into the Order of DeMolay.

Congratulations to Brother Ian on a successful term as Master Councilor. His leadership, dedication, and example have helped strengthen Pilgrim DeMolay and ensure a bright future for the organization.

Those in attendance from Perseverance Chapter were Companions Jonathan E. Nalepka, King; W. Bryan Hoover III, PHP; David M. Gui; William Molchany; Barry D. Krushinsky; Gordon C. Fisher; and B. Tyler Moyer. The Companions attended as part of the 2026–2027 Pilgrim Commandery program to actively support their sponsored body and invest in the next generation of leaders.

It was truly a great evening of fellowship, service, and witnessing the continued growth of DeMolay. Congratulations to the four newest members of Pilgrim DeMolay, and best wishes to Ian as he concludes an outstanding term of leadership.

Our Lodge's 155th Anniversary Banquet was a tremendous success, with 95 guests in attendance. We were honored to welcome Bro. Lynn B. Baker, Right Worshipful Senior Grand Warden, and Lady Holli Ann; Bro. Stephen L. Kiessling Jr., District Deputy Grand Master, and Lady Kathy; along with several Past District Deputy Grand Masters.

The evening's program was presented by Bro. Jonathan E. Nalepka, P.M., of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, entitled The Masonic Pillar: The Strength of Family and Support. His message reminded us that our Masonic journey is made possible through the encouragement, understanding, and sacrifices of our families, whose support plays an important role in all that we do as Masons.

We were also honored by Bro. Edward Stein, P.M., PDDGM, who presented the Lodge with a bottle of the Grand Master's Liberty Bourbon. This special gift will be proudly displayed in our Lodge showcase as a reminder of this milestone anniversary celebration.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make our 155th Anniversary Banquet a memorable and successful event.
