Parkside Campground at Gun Lake Parkside is a small family friendly campground near Gun Lake (no lake access but only a half mile from the beach and boat launch). Open May 1 to October 31.

Bring your friends and family! The more the merrier AND the bigger the prize for the winner!

If you know you are bringing a chili, let us know! This helps us so much in organizing how many entries to set up for. However you do not HAVE to enter in advance, if you just show up with an entry that is okay too.

Happy 250th Birthday America! 🇺🇲

Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate!

It was a long 26 hours without power, but everyone made the best of it and had a great time...and power is back!

We want to give a special thanks to Yankee Springs Twp FD for always showing up for the families here at Parkside! Having the firetruck lead the parade ia always a highlight!

There are chances of isolated storms throughout the weekend. 🌩

Our events tomorrow will go as scheduled unless it is raining within 15 minutes of the start of that event. We will do our best to share the word if we have to cancel anything due to rain/storms.

The event schedule will be in the comments below. It also can be found on the white board at the Rec Hall as well as on the bulletin boards in the bathhouse.

This is not a Parkside event. However, we encourage everyone to go to the Firefighters Pancake Breakfast at Yankee Springs Twp FD on Saturday the 4th of July, open from 7am to 10:30am.

Come and show your support for our local Fire Department who does so much for our community and enjoy some delicious pancakes!
