Housekeepers will be responsible for performing routine duties to ensure the high standards of cleanliness and service for the hotel and the brand. Housekeepers should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel guest rooms are properly cleaned and maintained.
More specifically, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Here is a highlight of daily tasks:
• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
• Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
• Dispose of trash and recyclables
• Place special items in room to “wow” our guest stay – short or long term
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
No prior housekeeping experience is required! We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate the aptitude to learn our type of work.

As a Guest Services Agent, you would be responsible for greeting and registering guests and checking guests out of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
•Greet guests and complete the registration process to include, but not limited to, inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirmation of guest information and room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet and ensuring guest knows location of room and/or has a bell person accompany him/her
•>Assist guests with check-out including, but not limited to, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, accepting and recording various forms of payment, converting foreign currency, making change and processing gift certificates and cards
•Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area and other general product knowledge and answer guest questions and inquiries
•>Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and to maximize room occupancy
•Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
•Field guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction
•Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests

As a Breakfast Attendant, you would be responsible for stocking food and serviceware and for clearing tables for complimentary breakfast buffets in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

•Stock food and serviceware for breakfast buffets
•Clear tables during the complimentary breakfast period
•Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
•Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
•Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

The Homewood Suites Midvale/Murray is excited to annouce our newest team member - Mo. Mo will be over seeing our pre-renovation planning and will be here until our grand-reopening between now and the end of June when our renovations will be completed. Mo hails from the mountain ranges of the 'Greatest Snow On Earth' the Wasatch Mountain Ranges which is also the home of Alta, Brighton, Solitude and Brighton Ski resports. If you've skied in Utah you've probably had a run in with the Yeti. Making his home in Utah's mountains he roams the powdered landscape looking for the best snow on the planet. He's been hired as mascot for all of Utah's ski resorts.
