Paradise Point Cottages Paradise Point Cottages on Lake Umbabog, New Hampshire Paradise Point Cottages are located on Rte. 26, 8 miles from Errol, N.H.

on the shores of Lake Umbagog, next to the public boat landing and State Park. We have 7 housekeeping cottages available for rental. Each is different and each has its own charm. Our cottages are furnished with refrigerators, stoves with ovens, and microwaves. The basic cookware, dishes, utensils, pots & pans, toasters and coffee makers & filters are provided for you. Our housekeeping cottages have their own showers, but towels and bed linens are not provided. Pillows, Blankets & Comforters are provided for you. Paradise Point Cottages on Lake Umbagog is our home, as well as our business. We are your hosts, Ricky and Linda Blais, and your four-legged hosts Elle & Ebbe our two female yellow Labs can be seen happily following us around the property.

After boiling 3-25 LB. bags and 6-10 LB. bags of sugar this Summer for 7 Hummingbird feeders, my little Hummers are now gone and making their winter trip to the south. It is very hard to get a good picture of them. I love the pics of them when they first arrive in the morning while it is still a little dark.

Today is Echo's 12th Birthday and we got her a new bed. I wish she was turning 2 instead. She is a good girl and deserves it. Age has slowed her down but she is happy. I think she likes it!

I have a family of ducks I feed everyday. They have been coming since they were born. There are 8 of them . They are so use to me that they jump on my shoes pulling at me pant legs. They let me pat them. Anyway they came in this morning for their feeding and there were only 7 of them. During the afternoon the one that was missing in the morning came in and walked right over to me and when I looked down this is what I saw. I bent down to look closely and her top beak is gone with her whole tongue exposed and some of her face gone. I put her some some crack corn and she cant eat it. I put it in water and she got some down. She followed me most of the day as I waited for her family to come back and eat. Eventually they came back and when she heard them she ran right over to them. To my horror the all proceeded to peck at her. Even the Mother wanted nothing to do with her. As they started to leave the injured bird kept squawking, the Mother looked back for a minute then left. Broke my heart.
